Here's a little mid-week motivation from the always hardworking Aileen Pagilagan Hoffman! This week's transformation inspiration comes from a member that consistently pushes herself as hard as she can, and doesn't know how to quit. She's always up for a challenging workout, and does it all with a smile. Way to go, Aileen!
"I have always been an athletic person, even a college athlete. However, after becoming a mom, my body didn't react the way I expected it to. With a busier schedule and a stressful job, I was having trouble balancing it all. I tried to do the things that I used to do, and at the level I had been doing them.
I did several different types of workouts, had different personal trainers and even back to training for a half marathon. I got injured each time.
I saw some friends on Facebook who were posting about T&J and decided to check it out. I really wanted to do the boot camp, but after talking with Jerry, he suggested I start out with personal training first, and he set me up with Russ. Russ started me out slow and back to the basics...concentrating on form and balance. I will be honest, my competitive personality did not like starting out slow!!!! But with patience, each week I felt better and stayed injury free. It kept me coming back. After about 4 months with Russ, some classes and now a boot camp, I am getting closer and closer to my goal...slowly and steady. I am down 7 lbs, feeling stronger, more confident, and managing stress much better in all areas of life.
I love everything about T & J...the classes, meeting other members and especially the trainers! I look forward to workouts again and miss it when I don't make it there.
Thanks Jerry, Theo, and Russ for helping me get back on track!"
